Ira is the son of Philip Korman and Jeannette is the daughter of Walter Bryan. Both men were firemen in the old firehouse on Broome St.

This photo was taken in 1964 as the fireman were going to a luncheon for foster children.  It is taken in the Broome Street firehouse and my dad, Philip Korman, is the second from the left.

This was taken in front of the firehouse at 185 Broome.  We lived a few blocks up on Norfolk.  My dad is second from the right and is the one pointing.
